Something About Knight!!!

Chivalry is a code of behaviour used by knights in the middle ages.

Knights were expected to be brave, loyal, honest, fair, kind, educated, strong and romatic. Some of these codes of behaviour are still used today, like holding a door open for a lady. Knights have to under go and pass many different tests, starting as a young boy, before they become a real knight.

These tests are known as rites of passage or intiations. Many peoples(races) had such tests to pass before you become a respected adult.

In the medievAl times you could not however, work your way up the social scale. If your parents were poor peasants, you were a poor peasants.

Medieval Time Note!!!

Medieval Time or the middle ages as it was called in Europe was very different to today way of life. However, it is the time that many of the things that we know and use today started. Our polital system, our social system, our language and even our sports had their beginings in the the middle ages.
